Strategic plan 2030

Lebanon is a leading medical destination, attracting patients from across the country and the region. Among its most renowned institutions, Hôtel-Dieu de France (HDF)—a century-old hospital recognized for the excellence of its care—continues to reinvent itself while remaining true to its founding mission. By embracing cutting-edge advancements such as artificial intelligence and robotic surgery, HDF has launched an ambitious strategic plan to strengthen its position as a center of excellence by 2030.

This plan is built around four key priorities: delivering superior quality care, meeting technological challenges, fostering multidisciplinary collaboration, and building a robust hospital network. Today, HDF leads the largest hospital network in Lebanon, comprising six hospitals and several community medical centers, aimed at streamlining care pathways and encouraging the sharing of expertise.

As a university hospital, it trains future healthcare professionals in partnership with Saint Joseph University of Beirut, in accordance with international standards and with a strong emphasis on research and innovation. In a highly competitive healthcare environment, the 2030 plan includes 49 medical projects and major redevelopment initiatives, all designed to enhance patient experience. With nearly 2,230 monthly admissions, HDF reaffirms its ambition to remain a benchmark institution, offering accessible, innovative, and patient-centered care.
