Family Medicine Center
Inaugurated in October at Hôtel-Dieu de France in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine of Saint Joseph University of Beirut, the Family Medicine Center (FMC) aims to be a center of excellence in Lebanon and the Middle East in terms of patient care, residency training and clinical research.
The FMC provides comprehensive health care for people of all ages by offering them a variety of services and consultations with family medicine specialists.
The FMC is a place where patients can undergo medical examinations, discuss their health and that of their family, and receive a full range of curative and preventive care:
- Consultations available to the public with family doctors
- Preventive visits for USJ students and athletes
- Consultations and preferential rates for USJ and Hôtel-Dieu de France's staff, as well as for their families
- Disease prevention and health promotion services: screening, vaccination and health education
- Travel Clinic
Relationships between the patients, family doctors, FCM nurses and specialized doctors flourish and become stronger over time, bringing out the best possible results on the health of individuals and the community.
The FMC is currently located on the first floor of HDF's former private clinics building. This building is under renovation and will soon have a new and attractive architectural design.
