Diabetes Education Center

The Diabetes Education Center at Hôtel-Dieu de France offers personalized care to each patient having diabetes. The Department of Endocrinology and Metabolic Disorders at HDF manages this Center. 

It works closely with the treating physician who refers their patient to the Center. The Center provides care to diabetics under oral and/or injectable antidiabetic treatment, as well as technological diabetes therapy if required. Individual therapeutic education of patients is carried out by and endocrinologist, an expert nurse and a dietitian.

 Several education programs are available: type 2 diabetes, type 1 diabetes and gestational diabetes. In addition, the Center offers therapeutic education for patients within the hospital.
