World Cancer Day

On the occasion of World Cancer Day, the Hematology-Oncology Department at Hôtel-Dieu de France organized a day of exchanges at the Khalil Mitri Assha Hall, bringing together employees, patients, and visitors.
This event provided an opportunity to meet oncology specialists and discover the associations supporting cancer patients in Lebanon. These included Sanad, Faire Face, the Barbara Nassar Foundation, Said NGO, Ana w Ento, the Women's Cancer Institute of HDF, and the Zahle Association For Cancer Care (ZACC). These organizations play a crucial role in offering medical and psychological support to those affected by cancer.
The hospital's Social Service also took part, presenting various support options and emphasizing the importance of patient well-being in the face of illness. Additionally, the Palliative Care Service was present to highlight its essential role in assisting patients and their families.
Hôtel-Dieu de France remains steadfast in its commitment to providing quality care while ensuring continuous support and accompaniment for its patients.
