As part of the “Operation 7th Day” initiatives, Hôtel-Dieu de France organized an awareness day dedicated to men, focusing on the prevention and early detection of prostate cancer—one of the most common cancers—where early diagnosis plays a crucial role in improving treatment and recovery outcomes.
The program included free medical consultations offered by specialists in family medicine, urology, and oncology, in addition to free PSA testing for early prostate cancer screening. Participants were also given the opportunity to ask questions directly to the physicians and receive accurate guidance.
This initiative generated notable engagement, with nearly 100 men benefiting from it. It served as further evidence of Hôtel-Dieu de France’s human and social mission, as well as its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of prevention and enhance health awareness within the community.
