The Neurology Department, in collaboration with the Family Medicine Center and the Palliative Care Unit, organized a two-day awareness event on Alzheimer’s disease.
The first day featured a conference covering several key topics: the diagnostic criteria for Alzheimer’s disease, end-of-life symptom management, and the central role of the family physician in patient support. The session concluded with an open discussion.
On the second day, an interactive booth was set up in the Khalil Mitri Assha Hall of the hospital. Staffed by medical teams, the booth welcomed hospital visitors to ask questions and receive comprehensive information about the disease.
