Mass in occasion of World Day of the sick

On the occasion of World Day of the Sick, celebrated on Monday, February 12, 2024, the team of spiritual caregivers at Hôtel Dieu organized masses in various departments of the hospital. This event brought together a diverse audience, including patients, their families, as well as staff members and visitors.

These prayer sessions began with the reading of selected verses from the Holy Bible, followed by a prayer for the healing and comfort of the patients at the hospital. The priests then delivered a message of encouragement and hope on the occasion of World Day of the Sick, emphasizing the importance of care, solidarity towards the sick, as well as the values of repentance, mercy, and reflection on the meaning of life.

Subsequently, candles were lit and distributed to all the participants.

These events concluded with a collective prayer and invocations for the healing of all the patients, as well as for the well-being of all the participants.
