Ceremony to celebrate the distinction of Dr. Hampig Kourie

L'Hôtel-Dieu de France organized a ceremony to celebrate the distinction of Dr. Hampig Kourie, hematologist-oncologist, awarded by the French National Academy of Medicine.

The event was attended by Pr Salim Daccache s.j., Rector of the Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth, Mr. Nassib Nasr, Director General of the HDF, Mr. Pierre Anhoury, Advisor to the Lebanese Minister of Health, Mr. Albert Kfoury, President of the Association Française Malte Liban and representative of the Kfoury family, as well as Pr Elie Nemr, Dean of the USJ Faculty of Medicine, members of the Medical Council, and various Directors and Heads of Department of the Hôtel-Dieu de France.

During the ceremony, a tribute was paid to Dr. Kourie, who was awarded the Prix Dr Philippe Kfouri in recognition of his major advances in Franco-Lebanese medicine.
