Hôtel-Dieu de France at Champs Fitness Center

Under the high patronage of the Minister of Health, Dr. Firass Abiad, the National Tobacco Control Program hosted World No Tobacco Day at the Champs Fitness Development Center in Hazmieh. The event started with the welcome speech of the Minister of Health and included a wide range of activities, such as dietary guidance, sporting activities, preventative information against tobacco use as well as psychological motivations from experts in the field of health. Hôtel-Dieu de France provided free carbon monoxide (CO) breath tests to anybody who was interested, mostly smokers, and doctors and residents were on hand to address any queries regarding health that individuals may have. Moreover, visitors had the chance to play a fun game of spin the wheel and put their knowledge to test.
