On the occasion of Global Hand Hygiene Day, HDF staff were actively involved in a two-day awareness campaign, aligned with the theme proposed by the WHO for this year: “Why is it still so crucial to promote hand hygiene”.

At the hospital's Khalil Mitri Assha Hall, the Hospital Hygiene Unit hosted an interactive stand, offering visitors an enriching experience aimed at highlighting the importance of maintaining good hand hygiene.

The campaign included information and interactive activities, demonstrations of good practice, and hand hygiene tests with ultraviolet machines.
